About "B Plus"
In ballet, the phrase B Plus is thought to have originated with George Balanchine and describes the position you take before doing a combination. Also known as croisé derrière this ballet position reflects a beginning and readiness to perform. We’ve adopted B Plus to describe a starting point for producing beautiful things that also have a practical purpose. The artists represented, whatever their style, have captured the essence and elegance of dance. That allows us to take their wondrous images and marry them with functional items. Our unique collections cover a wide range of beautiful works, from the elongated classical and vintage to the whimsical and ethereal art of dance.
